Redlands California Youth Clay Shooting Sports Inc.

We are a nonprofit 501(3)(c) sports organization.  All donations are tax-deductible.

First of all, allow us to congratulate you on taking the first step to getting you and/or your child involved in the sport of Clay Target Shooting.  You do not need any experience to get started, only the desire to learn.  Here are a few things you should know

Did you know that:

You can earn scholarships to MANY of the schools that have varsity shooting teams.  Including the Military Academies.

There is MORE than just Trap Shooting, there is Skeet, Sporting Clays, International Skeet, and Olympic Bunker.

There are thousands and thousands of kids across the US alone that compete regularly in Clay Target Sports in every state.

It is one of the safest sports- the National High School Clay Target program has never had a single injury.

There are many shooting organizations out there.  There is ATA, NSCA, NSSA, USA Shooting, NSSF, AIM, SCTP, Tri-County, and several others.  To compete in any of the registered shoots, you must be a member but don’t worry, they all have reduced fees for Juniors!  Many of them have programs for registered shooters to apply for scholarships as well.

Youth shooting has been around for decades.  Juniors are the future of the sport, future Olympians, and future responsible gun owners.  Juniors can compete for as much or as little as they want.  The decision to compete is entirely up to you.

We have 4 practices a month.  Two on Saturday mornings and two on Sunday mornings.  You attend the practices you are able to.  Keep in mind that the more you practice, the better you become.

Redlands Shooting Park has a long-standing tradition of supporting and cultivating the sport in our youth.

Give us a call if you would like more information on getting your child started in the fun and safe sport of clay target shooting.
